Trek Pics

Yay, we survived trek!!! It was so much fun and I think all that were involved would agree. Pictures are being uploaded to a Kodak GalleryEvent Album and we would love anyone who took pics to contribute. To upload pics or to view the gallery please leave a comment including your email so that we can send you an invite. Doing it this way will allow you to download the photos you would like to keep. Here are a few that I took...enjoy!

Ma's and Pa's important info!!!!!

A BIG Thank You, to all of those who so graciously offered to make snack bags for your families. I now have 183 in my possession.

Could those who are still sewing away, please send me a message to let me know how many you have completed or will complete (traskfam@infowest.com). I am trying to get the final count, so I will know how many more I still need to make. THANKS TONS everyone!

Invitation to all Parents and Family

We would love for you to join us to officially welcome the youth as they enter the "Valley" at the Diamond Valley Chapel on June 4th. Breakfast will be served at approximately 10:00 am and we encourage all to come and participate. It will be fun for all, but especially for the weary trekkers to see loved ones there to greet them.

The 4th ward recently held their activity for making aprons. They so generously supplied me with some pictures for the blog. Looks like fun was had by all ;)

Changes to the check list

There have been some important changes made to the Personal Equipment check list. Please look over immediately to make sure you bring everything that you need!! The most important change is to bring a coat ;)

Trek Activity Part 1

What are you looking forward to?

Music for Trek

We are challenging the youth to learn all the verses to five hymns before the trek.  They are:

1.   Come, Come Ye Saints   (Hymns  pg. 30)

2.    Praise to the Man  (pg. 27)

3.    The Spirit of God  (pg. 2)

4.   How Firm a Foundation  (pg. 85)

5.    I Know that My Redeemer Lives  ( pg. 136)

The words for all verses of these songs are included in the attached songbook.  Will you please post those five on the blog so all participants can begin working on memorizing all the words.
